Aras fits the Enterprise-wide PLM vision.

This is the conclusion that Nexteer Automotive, an industry-leading provider of steering technologies, reached in the search for PLM software that fulfilled their Enterprise-wide PLM vision.

In redefining their company goals and strategies, Nexteer realized the need for a system that could be used as a strategic business approach to drive global common business processes using common global data.  Aras was the answer.

Other requirements for their PLM system included:

• Flexible, configurable, and scalable
• Effective, and therefore provide value and productivity to the enterprise
• Improve accuracy, availability and control of information throughout the Nexteer Business System product lifecycle
• Configuration would allow integration of future business acquisitions or the removal of divested business data
