I have looked through all the help files and can't find anything on creating different configuratons (dash numbers) for this subect. We have one system that has several configurations and want to be able to print out a BOM that would show the -1 Config and -2 Config, but can't find a way to input this into the system.
Is anyone familar with how to do this, or does Innovator have this capability.

Have you looked at the Variants package. It is in the projects folder on the Aras website.

Will this have a big affect if downloaded on the current db. I originally put them in as alternates, being we were under the gun, and now the hammer has fallen on me to get this straightened out. I explained that I was not aware of this feature and that most PDM systems had this capability, but had researched to no avail.
