Aras 9.0 Installation keeps rolling back...does not install

Hi,

I have tried to install Aras v9.0 on my machine and cannot get it to complete. The files copy and somewhere I see a quick "ASP" thingy, and just then the installation rolls back. I cannot figure out why.

I have uninstalled v8.1

OS: Vista

Please assist.

Even I am having the same issue here. The OS is Vista again. Looks like the installer is not able to run properly. I think it dies when it is performing IIS operations.

I then had to kill the installer process tree (MSIEXEC.exe run by SYSTEM user) when the copy operation was complete. I had to put in all the config files on my own and create the IIS applications as well. The app is working fine now.

Same problem here. Trying to install 9.0.0 on server 2008 with IIS7

If I run the installer with logging enabled I find this just before the rollback.

Anything I can do to get around this???

This was an issue has been identified and resolved.

Please go to http://www.aras.com/support/downloads/download.aspx and download a new copy of the installer.

Hi,
