I'm a definite newbie who is trying to setup a test Server 2003 with Aras and Sharepoint.
I installed Aras - all well. It appears Aras has been set it's home directory to the IIS wwwroot directory.
When I install Sharepoint, it creates a wws subdirectory of the IIS wwwroot - but it uses port 80 also!
How can I engineer this so that either Aras or Sharepoint uses a different port?
Many thanks.
Tony
Hello,
I'm having the exact same issue at the moment. Have you solved it, or can anyone else tell me how to configure Aras to use another port? When I just change the port (e.g. to 81) within IIS, I get a runtime error after the login.
Thanks in advance for a reply.
Florian
Aras will fail if you change its port, but Sharepoint will run just fine. Inside the IIS management tool, open the properties of the "SharePoint" web site and change the port it uses.
I have a server running Aras on port 80 and SharePoint on port 8080 simultaneously.
