SUPPORT Q&A - I have to install the database twice

DenizEralp - Friday, June 22, 2007 6:55 AM:

Hi,

During the installation installer requires me to install the database twice. After creating a new one and configuring, I am seeing the same database creation window again.

After the installation I am getting the following error:

Exception during initialization (InnovatorDatabaseException): Invalid columne name 'id'. Invalid column name 'login_name'. Invalid column name 'password'. Invalid column name 'logon_enabled'. In SQL: SELECT id FROM [USER] WHERE login_name='admin' AND password='.....??........' AND login_enabled='1')

There is a similar post here. But, that did not help.

 Regards,

Deniz

I haven't seen this before.  Could you provide a little more information?

1) The installer required you to install 2 databases, or it tried to install the same database twice?

2) What OS is on the server, and What version of SQL Server are you using?

Thanks,

Bill
