SUPPORT Q&A - Viewing documents

spolen - Thursday, October 11, 2007 2:52 PM:

As a new administrator for this product at our company, I can't figure out why nobody in the company can view a document that has been put into the system.  I can view an Adobe Acrobat, but nobody else can.  Also, I am unabale to view PowerPoint files.  The correct extensions are listed under the file types, but I was wondering if I needed to add data under the Viewer directory in the TOC.

Any clues?

Sue

1) I am a little unclear on the problem.

Users can view the Documents, but cannot download the attached files?

or

Users cannot view the Documents at all?

2) Adobe Acrobat requires Adobe Acrobat Reader be installed as a plug-in to Internet Explorer.  I recommend Adobe Acrobat 8, as it also support MS Office 2007.

3) If you download the file to your working directory, does the powerpoint open from there?  Is the PowerPoint a MSPower Point 2007 document?
