Hi,
I am investigating if we want to migrate to ARAS, and have 1 question. Can ARAS handle BOMs with alternative parts? Either by having a single partnumber, with more suppliers, or by having a BOM where 1 position can have more partnumbers?
PS: is there a test-server/sandbox somewhere? Or a hosting solution with preinstalled ARAS standard setup?

Hi,
Yes, in Aras Innovator both features are included in the initial installation. You can manage alternative parts related directly to a Part definition or it can be linked to its BOM instance (substitutes) which makes the change only possible in the context of this BOM.
