We have developed a tool under DFMEA to draw Functional Block Diagram/ Boundary diagrams as per DFMEA 4.0 using Graphviz and SVG. The diagrams are not shown on some machines Internet explorer 7. Other SVG charts like Dashboard and Project precedance diagrams are shown properly.
If I copy the SVG file from temp directory and open locally it works, but there is problem in viewing it over network using application.Please let me know if someone has faced similar problem.
We are even thinking of developing ajax based svg viewer using dojo toolkit which will eliminate need of adobe svg installation. Has someone already developed something like this before ? Will it be good idea to go ahead with this?
