Does anyone know how to change the labels for the items on the "My Desktop"?  Currently only the part number shows up, but we would like to change the labels to show the name field of the item instead.  Is there a setting inside Innovator or do the HTML files for the Desktop need to be edited in order to achieve our goal?

The labels are the keyed_name values of the Item.  You can edit the ItemType to change the Keyed Name Order of the properties, but this will change the value for the entire Aras Innovator, and not just the Desktop.

You would have to edit the Part ItemType and change the Keyed Name Order od the item_number property to NULL and the name property to 1.
