CM
Configuration Management (CM) is a field of management established in the 1950s by the defense industry that is designed to standardize all of the processes associated with the production of a product in order to ensure the consistency of products' attributes and performance with it's requirements and design. The configuration management process is what eventually evolved into the PLM process.
