What IT skills are required for in-house support?
Aras recommends that an internal support team be formed consisting of an Administrator (user account creation, issue tracking), IT Infrastructure (back/restore, performance tuning, file vault allocations) and an IT Systems Analyst (workflow and interface design, scripting, enhancement planning).
Aras Innovator is a 100% .NET application, implemented as a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA). Most of the customization is accomplished without programming. IT personnel with experience in JavaScript and Visual Basic will be able to perform most scripting and automations. A knowledge of XML and C# is useful for building and maintaining integrations.
