I would like to be able to acces a controled format Excel file that is attached in a file relationship (vaulted file) so I can use the data in the spreadsheet to update properties in the Item that is the source of the relationship.
so, I have the file name from the vaulted file, but I cannot get Innovator methods to recognize the ADODB object and it methods and properties, etc. I know I would have to include a reference in the Imports part of the method-config.xml, but anything I have tried doesn't seem to trigger the right stuff for the methods editor in Innovator to recognize the object.
Our Innovator server has a very straight-forward install of Innovator at version 8.1.0 (soon to be upgraded to latest version). And there is a dll for ADODB.dll on the machine .... but I guess i don't have firm grasp of how to reference it in the method-confi.xml --- or am I barking up the wrong tree?
