A useful feature of the Office Connector is to automate the creation of viewable files, such as PDF, during the save process. All settings which control viewable file generation are controlled by the administrator, in order to enforce standard processes within the company. When viewable files are created, they are attached to the same Document as the regular Office file and will be both visible in the Files tab in the web client. Clicking on the file’s hyperlink will view the file in an external viewer like Adobe Reader.
