Aras to Present at CPDA PLM Roadmap 2007 Conference

Aras to Deliver Insight on Advanced Enterprise SOA on Microsoft for PLM to Complement Existing PDM Systems

ANDOVER, MASS. - September 12, 2007 - Aras Corporation, leading Microsoft enterprise open source software solution provider, today announced that the company will present at the Collaborative Product Development Association's [CPDA] Product Lifecycle Management Road Map 2007. The strategic conference is CPDA's premiere annual event focusing on the critical issues shaping global product development.

The conference will be held on September 19-20, 2007 in Plymouth, Michigan and is themed on the Lean Transformation for Integration and Collaboration across the Product Lifecycle with integration frameworks for targeting people, process, and technology for continuous improvement. Aras will be joining Michael Kennedy, author of the groundbreaking bookProduct Development for the Lean Enterprise, to present on new approaches to collaborate and innovate more effectively in globally distributed product engineering supply chain environments.

The Aras presentation will demonstrate how the Microsoft open approach is being used by industry leading companies such as Motorola, Delphi, and Lockheed Martin to complement existing enterprise PDM systems for better collaboration and innovation across global product development processes.
