Autoliv Hirotako Selects Aras for Enterprise PLM


Leading Supplier of Automotive Safety Systems Transforms Supply Chain Operations and APQP Processes with Aras

ANDOVER, Mass. and Munich, Germany – June 4, 2015 – Aras®, the next leader in enterprise Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software, today announced that Autoliv Hirotako Safety Sdn Bhd (AHSB), a worldwide leader in automotive safety systems, has selected the Aras Innovator suite for enterprise PLM. AHSB will streamline and optimize their design-purchase-manufacture process and stringently follow APQP processes through the implementation of the Aras solutions for engineering change management, CAD file management, BOM management, and quality systems.

In collaboration with Aras partner SolidCAD Technologies, AHSB is transforming the way its Malaysia facility interacts with customers and supply chain partners by tailoring Aras to meet their unique PLM needs. The Aras platform will enable AHSB to seamlessly share electronic design data throughout their extended supply chain while more closely collaborating with customers and adhering to customer APQP compliance processes. Autoliv Hirotako Safety expects these improvements to bring efficiencies and demonstrate the quality that the company delivers to customers.
