Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) identifies product and process issues in order to correct the root cause, prevent recurrence, and ensure the resolution process is executed in an effective, closed loop manner. CAPA processes address internal corrective actions, as well as, Customer Corrective Actions and Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCAR).
