Aras 3D Visualization (3DV) provides powerful yet easy to use 3D viewing for all Aras Innovator users. Mechanical CAD models managed by Aras CAD Connectors are automatically converted upon check-in to a lightweight viewable format. Models can be viewed in multiple contexts, such as CAD-specific or related to the EBOM or to a Digital Twin, and in different configuration states, such as “latest in work” or “as released.” Virtual assemblies can be constructed and saved, and collaboration capabilities include “smart markups” which maintain the full view state, allowing users to leverage 3D views for decision making.
