Hi community,

With 12spX we now access an intermediary screen proposing to search or create the item when clicking on the item in the TOC.

Is it possible to disable that UI new function to let the access to the custom html page like in this blog post 1st usecase ?

Hi Christopher, thank you for sharing this helpful article. I am able to display custom HTML page with change in first line of the sample code you have shared. Please find below code:

var innovator = new Innovator();
var newItemTest = innovator.newItem("","");

However, I am not able to set a title to the tab. I have tried different ways but still tab is getting displayed with small width and without any title. Could you please suggest, thanks.

Hi, instead of the aras website, I use a custom HTML page, how can I use the values from its fields in the aras method? Thanks!

I actually use something similar for displaying an simple how-to guide for the user. I once disvoered a 'test_page.html' in the client customer folder that shows how to use a query for item properties inside the html. I am not sure if this one is available in all versions. But this one could be used to build dynamic html content with javascript.

Great post! The 3rd way of displaying a static html file in a new tab is very useful. Is it possible to include a programmatically generated html in a new tab?
