Whats New

Overview

The Aras Innovator AI Assistant is a new generative AI feature designed to help users find information, perform actions, and gain insights faster within Aras Innovator. This initial release introduces a conversational interface that enables natural language interaction with Innovator’s structured and unstructured content, thereby increasing productivity and reducing the time spent navigating complex product documentation.

Built on retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), the assistant provides accurate, grounded responses by referencing documentation, training materials, and other Aras digital content, never relying on AI-generated hallucinations.

Key Capabilities

• Conversational Q&A
  Ask natural language questions and receive contextually relevant, source-cited answers based on Innovator documentation and knowledge base.

• Semantic Search Integration
  The assistant utilizes vector search to retrieve the most relevant content across unstructured data, including guides and help articles.

• User Access Management

  Access to the AI Assistant is managed through Identity assignments in Aras Innovator, ensuring only authorized users are able to view and interact with the assistant.
