Ok it looks like that DLL is missing. Could you check and see if C:\Windows\assembly\GAC_MSIL\System.Data.SqlXml exists? If not, I found a Microsoft package for SQL server that might help, it's linked on the following page: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30403

I've tried doing it manually but it still seems to say it can't find some file.

OK, apparently we haven't seen this one before. Could you try installing the package manually? You can navigate to C:\ProgramData\Aras\ArasUpdate\PE\[version #] (you will need to turn on viewing hidden files to see ProgramData) and there is a Documentation folder in there with steps for the manual install. Please let us know the results.

I have tried installing with detailed logging. Here is the new log file:

OK apparently that should be working. Do you have detailed logging turned on?

If not could you try again with that on and post the log file again?

I'm using Innovator 11.0 SP 12 and the version of the PE is 11.0R3. But I've tried the 11.0R4 version as well and it also does not work. I get the same error.

What is the version of PE you are trying to install from Aras Update? I believe you are using Innovator 11 Service Pack 12 (you can check this either from the bottom of the login window or in the Help > About screen within Innovator), but the version of PE itself may be incompatible with that SP, so you may need a different PE release. We need the number next to the radio buttons, it should be something like 11.0R4,

Thanks for the speedy reply.

I am trying to install the Aras update version 1.5 but I'm not sure where to check the version of the Innovator? I believe I am currently running version 11.0.0.6920.

Do you think I should try downloading the Innovator again from the link on the website and try installing the update again?

Hello Cian,

Could you try double checking the versions of Innovator and PE you're trying to install? Apparently there is an incompatibility issue between the versions, according to your log file.
