Although, I don't see any more recent commits to the git-hub repo? Any idea on the types missing from the Common Grid Utilities ? I was using the v4.1 zip archive before. It appears to be incomplete. Well, that was a huge disappointment. I'm not quite sure why no one has an answer on this. Or why you would tell me there was an updated version.

Hi Mark, The Item Characteristics project has been updated for Aras 11 SP9 if you are still interested in this community project. Additionally, Aras 11 SP11 is available to subscribers and introduces capability for extended classification. This new feature provides more flexibility to assign groups of characteristics to items. Maybe an admin could delete the post #9574 which has the issue in it. There is some type of layout issue in Chrome 58 when I posted that URL to the form and it will not let me edit it or delete it. Just to continue. I gather Common Grid Utilities allows different Grids to be loaded from XML definitions stored on the file system. Most likely I could just reconstruct the ItemTypes (tgc_Configuration, tgc_Constant, tgc_*) working backwards from the definitions I have, but that seems kind of silly. I have merged both Collaboration Folders and Item Characteristics Packages successfully. Both fail when they attempt to load their configuration grid data from the XML file during runtime, due to the missing ItemTypes. www.cascadeacoustic.com/.../tgc_Configuration.png

The partial overlays exist in two or three github repos on this site such as: github.com/.../1-Other Dependent Packages github.com/.../javascript Or in the archived project “Item Characteristics And Classification” github.com/.../characteristics-and-classification The problem is that that these methods to parse the grid layouts seem to depend on ItemTypes that are not defined in the default Solution template and I can not find the AML definitions to import anywhere. For example, “tgc_Configuration”, github.com/.../cFolders Structure Grid v5-0.xml

Can you precisely give us the project references you have imported (project url). Not sure what is the common grid utilities, is it part of one of these community projects?
