It seems that "keyed_name desc" attribute does not affect on it, and I also tried some others, so strange...

Of course you need to sort with a property that you have. You don´t have sort_order, that was just my sample. Maybe try "keyed_name desc"?

Angelalp, I just added these two lines in .xml and it seems which is not affected on it. Hmmmm...

Have you tried using an orderBy attribute in one of the Item tags?

e.g.:<Item type=myitem" orderBy="sort_order desc" ....>

Also I am not sure if things are so easy to solve with collab foders. Doesn´t it normally render the data as multi level structure?

I may have one more question here, I am trying to set Ascending or descending order of a column as default , made some changes in this xml file still not working. Any thoughs on this? Thanks.

Hi Angelalp,

As you suggested that I created a fake id and changed related ID as the same one.

Also, I found out the link between locked_by_id and column, and made some changes on it as needed, finally it is working now! Thank you! -Jen

Hi Jenli,

I am not super familiar with the collab folder project. Is all the configuration just done in the xml, or was there some configuration itemtype also?

If it´s really just about the ids and if everything is specified in this xml:

I would create a fake id for your custom 'tgc_view ColumnDef' and resue this one everywhere where an 'tgc_view ColumnDef' is used (e.g. config_id, keyed_name, etc..).
All user and permission ids should be fine as long as you want to stick to the original setting.

Do you know, where the link between locked_by_id and your custom column is made?
