If that&#39;s the case, you can uncheck &quot;Update&quot; for one or more identities in the ItemType&#39;s permission item. Or if you want to prevent users from editing any item in a specific lifecycle state, you can select the &quot;Not Lockable&quot; option for the state in the lifecycle map editor.
