By the way: If all the icons and photos you use are located in the vault, you will sooner or later face performance problems. Aras is not optimzied to dispaly many images at the same time.

When you change the name of your property from "foto" to "thumbnail", your photo will be displayed like the regulra Part thumbnails below the State: in the properties pane.

I'm not saying it's clever, but I think it may be possible by 'tricking' the function Aras.prototype.uiShowItemInFrameEx found in ui_methodsEx.js on the server ../client/javascript into returning your preferred Picture instead of the ItemTypes 'Large Icon'.

It may be possible to do by changing the javascript method or by modifying the 'ItemType' Itemtype or federating the Icon Property.

Note, I believe this is being removed in Version 12.
