Only the Assigned Creator can create New Revisions in a Document, in the Released State?

If you talk about the action &quot;Create New Revision&quot; this is actually a shortcut provided to the assigned creator ,property &quot;Owned_by_id&quot;.

But in the CMII compliant process this new revision/release process should go through the workflow. In this case it will depend on your ECN or Express ECO configuration. There you can set who is in charge of starting a new revision.

The Classic CMII process (PR-ECR-ECN) is quite well documented in &quot;Just Ask Innovator&quot;<div style="clear:both;"></div>
