Yes that would have been my best suggestion. I just wasn't sure what to roll-back from your failed install. We are working on improving the error messaging in Aras update.

Hi, I've abandoned the aras update. I have got Component Engineering level 1 working by re-installing aras innovator and following the Manual import of Component Engineering as described in the CE 11.0R5 installation guide. You have to import CE and CE settings to get it to work best regards

Installation Guide.pdf The only install criteria I could not find in innovator was point 2.2 (6) in the pdf 6. Confirm that one of following sets of variables are listed: Version Major Version Minor Version ServiceUpdate Version ServicePack 11.0 SP9 11 0 0 SP9 I suspect this is not the problem, but a exception in imports.mf Any help appreciated best regards

So it is looking in the right place, but partially installed? I login into aras and we have new contents -> Cloud Services ->Component Engineering. However comes up with register activation key required for aras CE. I presume the activation failed during original installation? So I need to know how to remove the partial install to try again best regards

not sure at all. try this : c:/Program Files (x86)\Aras\Innovator (there might be an extra innovator in your path)
