Glad to hear it. as a rule of thumb, any additional instances you install on your machine need to have a unique file path and web alias. You can have multiple instances on a single machine, but you need to make sure they won't interfere with existing installations.

Got it working but uninstilling 12.0 but also deleting the Innovator folder in the C drive manually thereafter.

When you installed the SP8 instance, did you install to a unique location? Was the 12.0 instance still installed when you installed the new one?

The error occurs before the login screen.

I installed the innovator setup within the SP 8 zip file. Just ran the .exe and followed the instructions as for normal setup.

No, your license key should work with all service packs for release 12.

As far as the issue you're seeing, could you give me some more information? Where exactly is this error screen popping up? Before/after login? How did you go about installing your second instance?

Thanks, tried installing the SP 8 but get a runtime error

Hi Duncan,

12.0 is only compatible with R1 of all the applications you've noted. If you'd like to use the latest versions of applications, you'll need to upgrade your environment to a more recent service pack.
