Nash is now working. It must have been blocked by the breakpoint in the debugging session. I uploaded two files at the link : drive.google.com/.../11PONZ2gnJ-YSYM_-RjizMiUJkkWjpQiK First file is nash.png. Second file is the server debug log file. nash result tells me an empty reply. But I suspect that the id , as copied from the Visual Studio debugger, is no longer valid when used in Nash editor, am I right ?

Hi I was not sure why nash is not responding. Ensure that IIS is running and try clearing browser cache and give a try. I'm not able to replicate the issue. Can you help with 2 more screenshot

Hi, Yes, on every update operation new generation of the part will be created (ID will be different for each generation). If you don't want to change the ID you need to keep version='0' in AML query. Are you able to debug the issue in Visual Studio or please share the steps to repro this issue.

Hi, When I run the code from Nash, the update is OK. But when I run it for the second time, the update is not done, showing me a short <SOAP-ENV: Envelope> ... </SOAP-ENV: Envelope> message. Is it normal for the part id to change for every operation ? When the second trial fails, I copied the new id from the part and inserted it into the AML code, it succeeds.

Hi, Can you enable the debugger and try to check what is the AML you are getting from this method or can you provide me the steps to replicate this issue. Alternatively, you can try updating the Part '_uzay_part_e_no' using NASH and check how it behaves in AML <AML> <Item action="edit" type="Part" id="id of the part"> //get the part id from file --> Properties in Part <_uzay_part_e_no>2000</_uzay_part_e_no> </Item> </AML>

But, now, I am blocked by another type of error : I can not set any property of the source part using the value of any property of the relationship. Hi, here is the situation; we have integration parts and 1 Aras part can have multiple integration numbers like E01, E02, etc. I use Part Integration relationship (Part-Part) and add the E values (E_no property) to this relationship. Now, I showed self-service reporting to the project group but they definitely want to see the properties of this relationship on the main search grid. So I think the idea is to see all parts with different E values in the grid like this : Part 1 -E01 Part 1-E02 Part 2-E03 Part 3-E04 thanks

Hi, Could you please elaborate the use case. My understanding is you have a part and have Part Integration relationship. Part Integration relationship may have multiple rows and you want to show all the rows integration_number in main search grid ? Do you want all the integration_number as comma separated values in search grid ?

Hi You can use something like this to show the relationship property on the Parent Item type search grid. Steps:

Create a property in Parent Item Type ( I have created document_created_on in Document Item Type and made this field as Visible = '0' in Document Form)
Create method with below code and add it to Document Files Item Type (ServerEvents : OnAfterAdd and OnAfterUpdate

Innovator inn = this.getInnovator(); string doc_createdon =this.getProperty("created_on"); string parentid=this.getProperty("source_id"); Item parent = inn.newItem("Document", "edit"); parent.setAttribute("id", parentid); parent.setProperty("document_created_on", doc_createdon); parent = parent.apply(); return this; If multiple items are there in relationship, then you need to restrict which line item property should be shown in main search grid. Hello, By default, only the properties on the ItemType itself are visible from the main search grid. One workaround to this would be to create a placeholder property on the Part ItemType that always has it's value set to the integration_number of any related Part Integrations. You could do this with some custom logic from an onAfterAdd/onAfterUpdate Server Event on the Part Integration ItemType. Chris
