&lt;p&gt;You can check the users of a database in SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) under&amp;nbsp;&lt;strong&gt;DB_Name &amp;gt; Security &amp;gt; Users&lt;/strong&gt; as in the picture below.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;You can then right-click on the&amp;nbsp;&lt;em&gt;innovator&lt;/em&gt; user if it exists and select&amp;nbsp;&lt;strong&gt;Properties&lt;/strong&gt;. From this window, you can check if this user is the&amp;nbsp;&lt;em&gt;db_owner&lt;/em&gt; under the&amp;nbsp;&lt;strong&gt;Membership&lt;/strong&gt; panel.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Could you let us know&amp;nbsp;the source of this existing database? Was it&amp;nbsp;created during a previous Aras Innovator installation?&lt;/p&gt;
