Saved Search - Search Dialog of a Relationship

Hii. My requirement is.... One Part is submitted -> Review 1 by one user -> Review 2 By another user -> Then part is approved. I have created simple workflow map like mentioned above. Assigned entity for each activity. Then i included workflow in "part" ItemType. Now, I submit a part means, i couldn't fine workflow process in ToC. I am using Aras 11.0 and Firefox as client. Camera Integration

Has anyone developed a solution for an app or a hook from a picture / camera program into a thumbnail field on Aras? So someone would just snap the picture and it would populate a field in an item, as opposed to going through Windows Explorer to add a picture.

Effective Date Field

Looking into a solution to turn the effective_date field to a null when a lifecycle state is occurring. I'm assuming I need put a server method on a lifecycle transition, but I am having trouble writing the proper code in C#. The issue is when the lifecycle states are changing, but there is no actual change to the item. When the item changes it's not an issue because the effective_date field automatically becomes null when the item reverts to Preliminary state.

Color Coding Null Data Fields

Would like to highlight certain data fields that are null for a specific ItemType. Does anyone have a solution? Or maybe can point me to the correct method(s) used on the project function for color coding project status?

Changing Default Functions When an Item is Saved

I want to have a time stamp for each unique Related Item for a particular Item. So I set up a simple method to save the parent, any time a specific field is changed on the related item. That way the modified_on field is accurate to the minute. The issue is I do not want the form to reset to default on every save. I just want it to stay as is. Any suggestions?

Self Service Reporting run report

Hi all, I've a strange issue with self servivce reporting. I've created a new report into my ARAS SP8, and it works fine, I can run the report from myReports, but if I logout from Aras and login again in a second time and try to run or edit my report this doesn't work (blank window) but if I go to self service reporting under the administration menu and try to create a new one then also my previous report can be run. I'm not able to understand how if I try directly to run the report it doesn't work while it works only if before I open the creation of a new report... thanks

Self Service Report - Only show most recent revision

Put together a self service report for an ItemType, and I would only like the data associated with the most recent revision of the Item to show up. Can someone help with that? Is it something I need to do to the LifeCycle or is that some filter I can put in the report? Thanks!
