Aras is an innovative, global software company that provides advanced Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software solutions to business customers worldwide including General Motors, Airbus, BMW, Microsoft, Gulfstream, Motorola, General Electric, Honda, and more.
We are looking for PLM Business Analyst / Consultant who will play a key role in successful customer deployments of internal business solutions. You will lead an implementation team in the planning, elaboration, design, construction and transition of solutions that meet stakeholder requirements.
•Lead the analysis and documentation of business user requirements through the delivery of workshops, one-on-one discussions, and actual usage
•Document business requirements, user stories, use cases, and functional specifications and liaise with software development team to implement
•Transform business user requirements into technical solutions that satisfy the needs of users
•Utilize knowledge and experience by incorporating rapid implementation best practices in proposed solutions and deliverables
•Participate in the creation of project deliverables including both technical and business elements
•Assist project teams in other aspects of implementation including: solution configuration / tailoring, preparation / execution of testing and/or training, project management, etc.
•Position may involve project management, communications management, and production testing
•Professionally interact and communicate with business constituents and internal team members
•Clearly demonstrate the ability to work with minimal supervision
•Have a basic understanding of enterprise application deployment methodologies, preferable PLM applications
•Must be able to write clear, understandable Requirements, SOW’s, Specifications documents, and Use Cases.
•Technically self-sufficient; familiarity with Jira, Microsoft Visual Studio Team Services or similar is a plus
•Ability to execute utilizing Agile implementation methodologies
•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering
•Minimum of 5 years of software industry experience
•Experience with Agile frameworks such as SCRUM, SAFe, Feature-Drive Development, or Lean Development are a plus
