The Field Marketing Manager plays a key role within the overall marketing team helping to drive expansion of Aras in assigned targeted industries and regions. This position will develop and execute industry-specific go to market strategies and drive integrated marketing campaigns to achieve the goals of raising awareness of Aras as a credible PLM provider and creating contacts, especially at the executive level, either by direct outreach or via industry associations and events.

What you’ll do

  • Develop and manage specific integrated marketing campaigns to raise awareness and generate leads within target companies including:
    • Executive roundtables
    • Product seminars
    • Customer showcase events
    • Webinars
    • Digital marketing
    • Networking and community building events
  • Proactively stay in tune with the challenges and changes occurring within target companies and their industries
  • Identify, recommend, and lead engagement with the various industry associations and groups
  • Identify appropriate industry events, conferences and trade shows and work with Corporate Marketing to conduct event or sponsor as appropriate
  • Periodically attend other relevant industry events to build knowledge and awareness within different target industries
  • Identify key publications to reach target companies and conduct industry media relations coordinated with overall marcomm activities
  • Work closely with Corporate Marketing to engage the customer community in marketing such as case studies, presentations, articles and other activities
  • Work closely with Corporate Marketing and Product Marketing personnel to leverage corporate messaging and marketing assets
  • Serve as a conduit for industry trends, current events, and other noteworthy items that would empower the Community team to have more meaningful and strategic discussions with prospects 

    What you need

  • Minimum 5 years of hands on marketing experience within a B2B enterprise software environment: PLM, ERP or SCM preferred
  • Fluency in Auto/Aero/Med Devices/Hi-Tech industries, product development and manufacturing, and understanding of decision process and personas
  • Working knowledge of industry-focused media, conferences and associations
  • Experience in event coordination for conferences and tradeshows
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at various stages with multiple different priorities and multiple stakeholders
  • Experience/understanding of modern demand generation  and measurement; ABM strategy a plus
  • Team player with a collaborative philosophy
  • Strong decision making and problem solving skills, plus ability to think outside the box
  • Experience with SaaS subscription marketing preferred but not essential
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required
  • Ability to travel
