Position Description

 

 

 

You’ve heard the recent excitement surrounding PLM, both in the Cloud and on-site. Aras Innovator is an advanced Web-based SOA Framework with HTML5 and Mobile app front-ends, delivered either as a Cloud-PLM solution, or on-site as commercial enterprise open source. Our flexibility both in platform and delivery models is providing Aras with a highly disruptive position in the marketplace.

 

 

 

We are looking for DevOps Engineers that will shape the future of how we do deployment, automation and scalability. We need motivated, organized, meticulous self-starters that can absorb new concepts fast and turn them into reality even faster.

 

 

 

What You’ll Do

 

  • Work with development teams to enhance, document and establish process and improve the operability and supportability of our systems

  • Develop automation and scripting solutions (Nant and C# a plus) for various applications and environments (Windows required, Linux a plus)

  • Assist in the configuration/build out of new deployments to facilitate our constant growth

  • Work with Development and QA teams to assist in resolution of issues

  • Contribute to the development of the team, our standards, and best practices

 

 

 

What You Will Need

 

 

 

  • Ability to learn and use a wide variety of open source technologies and tools

  • Experience with systems and IT Operations

    • Experience with virtualization technologies (Hyper–V and Azure desired, AWS a plus)

    • Experience with infrastructure monitoring (Zabbix desired)

  • Comfortable with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment

  • Strong grasp of continuous integration tools (Chef and CruiseControl.net a plus)

  • Ability to assist developers with performance tunings (Solr a plus)

  • Experience with source control (Git desired)

  • Enjoy collaboration, open communication and reaching across functional borders
