Earlier this month Aras Japan hosted ACE Japan in Tokyo. This regional event had a great turnout of users, partners, and Aras employees. The event kicked-off with CEO Peter Schroer delivering the Keynote including a look at some exciting things the company is up to including Aras Spectrum, Visualization and how he strives to Be Different.
The community was then inspired by several user stories. Seiko Epson delivered their Aras experience; discussing the speed and quality of implementation, as well as their support of the subscription based model. Neosystem, an IT and Development company, presented on implementing the MBOM using rich text clients, an area they specialize in.
Also in attendance, T-Systems presented GETRAG Ford Transmissions and F.X. Meiller case studies, as well as a demo of their Catia V5 PDM Workbench. YDC, an IT consulting company, moved the crowd with their demonstration of improved efficiency in data management with Aras.
The Japanese Partner Showcase was full of valuable information including tips, case studies and solutions. The partners contributing to this session were: SCSK, Digital Process, Uchida Spectrum, Comnext, Aimnext and Hitachi Systems.
Last but not least, there were presentations from Hiroaki Okubo, Aras Japan Sr. Manager, and Masahiko Hisatsugu, Aras Japan President. Both delivered a variety of topics including a focus on Aras upcoming releases and the public roadmap.
The event was a smash hit and I want to thank the supportive, Aras Japan Community for their involvement.
