Boeing Insitu had three major goals when implementing CMII Change: speed up the release process, implement formal change control and get rid of paper forms.
Boeing Insitu met their goals and more with Aras PLM.
First, they learned about Aras's out of the box CMII Change solution. Using it as their foundation they identified where changes needed to be made to suit their needs. 140 item changes later, they have created their ideal change process.
The results? "Our engineers are in seventh heaven," said Insitu's Pam Schwandtner They now have where used visibility and impact analysis, and the company went from zero to over 60% Fast Track Releases.
