All,
I had (at least I thought I had) installed Innovator successfully. I was able to get to the login page, although I could not login. I then ran sdns.exe with the URL, and the site no longer is available. I get the following error:

Aras Innovator client has failed to initialize.
Please, contact your system administrator to review your .NET security settings.

Any help would be appreciated.

Are you sure you fed the right URL to sdns? This error message is the usual one when one failed to launch sdns...
Which URL did you give? It should be http://<machinename>/<Innovatorname> , like http://arasvm1/InnovatorServer
Have a look at the log file sdns generates. What does it contain?

Good thought. But the log file appears to be OK. Here is the contents... My server 2K8 is running .NET Framework 4. Is that an issue?

As long as you have .NET>=2 you should be OK. .NET 4 includes .NET 2 and as you can see in the log .NET 2 is used
