Hello,
I've just installed 9.2.0sp3 in a Windows Server 2008 SP2 virtual machine. Everything works as expected on client side (in the host, outside of the VM), but inside the VM it is impossible to access to Innovator. Here is what happens when I open http://localhost/Inno923 from inside the VM:
- As expected, redirect to http://localhost/Inno923/Client (fine)
- As expected, a second (login) window begins to pop (fine)
- Then the login windows remains in a "connecting" state
- After ~10 seconds the first window shows a warning saying "
Message: Just opened IE window was not found. Line: 40. Char: 7. Code: 0. URI: localhost/.../"
And here is the aforementioned line 40:var thisBrowserOrTab = ieClient.Start();
Again, Innovator works on the host machine (the physical machine), but this problem happens when trying to login from _inside_ the VM. Any idea?
Both machines use IE8, sdns was run, IE client machine config was done (IE protected mode disabled, Innovator in Trusted sites, scripts options checked, no Compatibility mode)
Host (physical) machine: Windows XP SP3 x86
Guest (virtual) machine: Windows 2008 R1 SP2 x86

Workaround from Aras Support: "Reenter the Aras Innovator URL into second window that pops up after receiving the error. By entering the URL into the second window you should be able to successfully load the login window."
This is needed because WS2008 isn't officially supported as a client. They filed a ticket however, and the issue might be fixed in a future release of Innovator.
