If I use IOM API ITEM.newItem("Document", "Add") method to create an item instance, by default it will be unlocked. If you lock,edit and unlock it, it will create a new generation.
I just want to create it without being unlocked, just as UI NEW cammand. Then untill I finish other works, I will first unlock it. How can I get this work? Any help?
