I have read on ARAS site that ARAS Innovator is open source . Now i want to download and compile and then install the Innovator PLM . but i didnot found the source anywhere on their site.

i mean does he has to appoint a new software developer in order to customise the innovator or something like that.?
I am doubtful about innovator. i found it very hard to use.

Have you used any other PLM solution? Can you list some elements that make you feel that Aras is hard to use?
The need of a developper or contracting with an integrator really depends on how much customizing and what level of customizing you need. Many companies make some pilot projects without any previous training. With a single training you can already develop a complete solution without a line of code. Than for more specific business rules you might need a developper (.net technologies make it very easy to find).
Aras is really about flexibility. And flexibility @ Aras is not just to be able to customize whatever you want. It is also about making sure that wathever the customizing your Innovator instance is still sustainable and easy to upgrade.
