The Aras Innovator Installer is not rejecting your password, but rather it is failing to meet the Microsoft SQL Server restrictions.
You have 3 options:
1) Use a password that meats the SQL Server requirements.
2) Disable the password restrictions before installing.
3) Create a login on the server manually with lessened password restrictions, and use that login when prompted in the installer.
I recommend using option 1, it is going to be better database practice long term.
