Dear friends,
I have added a new item "Yard" under "portfolio" menu.
When i right click on it , it shows only the "List All" option in context menu.
I expect that it should also show the "New Yards" option in context menu. and when i click on it , it should open a new form for addiing new yard data.
How can i do this.

Hi Ashok,
In the Yard definition, you have a tab called "can add". You need to specify here who has the right to create an instance of yard type.
CAN ADD permission is related to the itemtype
whereas "access" PERMISSIONS are linked to the instance of the itemtype (which is why they are separated.

I have done the changes in "Can Add". then also the problem was there,
But now i resolved the problem on myself.
I think the problem was at the "Item View" window .
previously i selected all the check boxes that means ( "unlock on logout, dependent, is relationship etc). =>the problem is showing
lateron when i selected only the ("Enforce Discovery" and "Allow Private Permissions")=>problem resolved

I forgot to mention to close Aras after such change (or maybe just the cache deletion from the admin menu could solve it).
the Can Add tab really was the issue.
The other items you mentioned are not directly related but i guess permissions were resolved by the time you did that.
