I installed Aras Innovator on Windows Server 2008 R2, and followed all instructions from documentation available to configure .NET security as well as IE configuration.
When I attempt to login to InnovatorServer from local host with http, I get "HTTP Error 403.4 - Forbidden", which is telling me that I need to use secure address https.
When I attempt to login from local host with https, I get "Aras Innovator cient has failed to initialize. Please contact your system administrator to review your .NET security settings". I did run the sdns.exe for https URL.
When I attempt to login from client computer running Window 7 64-bit, I finally get to login screen. However when I enter user name, password, and database, hitting Login doesn't do anything. It just stays on the same window as if the Login button wasn't responding, even though the Cancel button works just fine.
I also tried loging in from Windows XP SP3 with IE6, but got the same result as the server.
On one of the posts here, I found a link to apply the hot fix to UserNotifications.dll, but that didn't fix my issue either.
Please help.
