Hi Christoffer,
When I wrote this article on the blog, I didn't know it was possible to use the tab with Aras directly in IE.
In fact instead of typing: http://server/instance you need to enter serveur/.../Innovator.aspx
In this case you'll keep the tabs !! pretty nice ! (Thanks to Anthony Ponceot)

Hi Yoann,
Thanks for the quick answer. Yes very nice.
Now I would like IE to open requested forms in new tabs istead of new windows.
So when I click veiw on an "Item" it should create a new tab and display the form ?
Thanks,
Christoffer

It in the IE settings, when not using the tabs, Aras ask you to setup IE so that it always opens forms in new windows.
You need to go in IE -> tools -> options -> tabs and ask to open in new tabs instead of new windows of maybe let IE choose.

Yoann

On a related note, from what I can tell, the current recommend IE Tab extension for Firefox (if one wants to go that route) is IE Tab 2:
Coincidentally, I just posted about this yesterday in another thread:
