How to set 'Ext' in FileType for ProE files which have extensions in .prt.* and .asm.* format (Eg: car.asm.5 , body.prt.3) ?

Creating a new file type and Setting Ext. as '1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9' , works for ProE files whose part or asm extensions ends with the numbers set in Extn. It will be nice if the Ext. can take input like prt.* or asm.*
