Hi all,
I was wanting to know how I can have a form open up from a relationships tab. There was a post on changing the view in the relationship type item. However, I don't want it to default to a form. I'd like to see it as a grid, but when they go to create a new item, it opens up the form. Or if they want to view an existing item in that relationships tab, when they click on the item, it opens up the form.
Any ideas?
Thank you,
MG

Hi Marty,
If you want to open a form on the create new relationship you go to the "Relationship Types" and edit the Relationship type for the relationship. At the top section of the form there are some radio buttons where you select if you want to allow Pick, Create, Null relationship. Just under these is an "Open Form" checkbox. Tick this and a new form will be opened when a new relationship is created.
To view the item in a form just right click on the item and select the "View" option.
Cheers,
Brian.
