DEVELOPERS FORUM - IOM.dll "not a compatible version" error in Visual Studio 2008

imitchell - Thursday, July 21, 2011 10:39 AM:

Hi -

I'm trying to move a Visual Studio 2008 project from 64Bit Windows XP to 32Bit Windows 2003 Server.

When building the solution, i get the following error:

Metadata file '<path>IOM.dll' could not be opened -- 'Version 2.0 is not a compatible version.'

On VS2008 I have changed the target to be "anyCPU" vs. "x64" and have been looking at it from the VS side of things.

Any thoughts on this from the IOM.dll side?

Thanks,

Ian
