HI,

i am trying to achieve the following

1. I have created two forms for an itemtype, say "form1" which is default and" form2" in views. for form2 I added type as edit.

2. I have created a generic action and associated a method to it.

3.i am planning on opening form 2 for display programatically.

4. I am able to get the id for the form but am unable to open "form2" programatially in my action. Unable to find suitable methods ..

I tried uishowitemex/uiReShowItemEx Methods but it opens the Item in Default Form. How would i open a item in a form other than default Form.

any help greatly appreciated.
