DEVELOPERS FORUM - Installation problems with Apparel Aras (from Plural)

Hi,

I'm pretty new with Aras (just researching about this Open Source PLM). I would like to test Apparel ARAS from Plural but the installation does not work.

First I installed ARAS PLM (v9.3) and it works right but then I proceed to install the Apparel add-on, it finishes ok but I can´t log on again to the PLM.

Attached you will find the errors I got when I tried to access again (not very much information). Any clue? Maybe you can tell me how to obtain more details about the error to find out more.

Any tip it would be very welcome.

Hi,

Are you talking about the "Plural Technology Fashion/Apparel" addon? It looks recent and was marked as compatible with 9.3. Then to help you we'd need two things:

1. Please re-upload your error logs in a place where we can access them (here we cannot, you pointed to a file local to your machine). Or if they are short enough you can paste them here.
2. The error at runtime will be a good thing, but it would be even better if you provided the logs of the import. These files should be in the Log subfolder of the folder containing your Import tool.

hi,

The apparel solution on the community site works for 9.2 only currently. We will upload an installer for 9.3 soon. The zip contains an installation document which mentions as 9.2 as  prerequisite.The installation should for 9.3 too but some functionality would not be available. Also check the installation document for list of login ids you may use for logging into the apparel solution. The default logins including admin wont work after you install the Apparel solution.

Ok, As add-on on the web is marked 9.3 compatible. Ok, then it seems that it should work with 9.3 but with less features available. The problem is that after apparel installation I can´t get the login screen. I get this error:

Error HTTP 500.19 - Internal Server Error

No se puede obtener acceso a la página solicitada porque los datos de configuración relacionados de la página no son válidos.

Do you know when the new installer for 9.3 will be available?
