Hi ,
In the Activity completion form of a project Activity we give the Actual start date and save the form.
Later I have not completed the activity in the "activity completion form" on the date on which it is completed.
Instead when i do it after a day or two, it will take the current date as the completion date.
Can anyone tell me if we can give the completion date too as a specific date some where or is it a fixed functionality.
We need to have the correct dates of start and end of an activity to track the deviations.
Please help.

Hi,
Just edit the code present in onCompleteActivity method. after changing the code you would be able to set actual date manually.

Hello,
When you creating new project then in a form two things in front of you start date and end date, when you enter your start date then end date automatically comes and project created.
when you set your team members and save project then automatically system takes a scheduled start and end date. This date comes from your project each activity time gap.
So don't be confused that end date is today date because schedule end and start date shows your complete project time span . its depend on your requirement that your project complete 30 days or 40 days. I hope you understand.

Hello,
Actual Start Date and Actual End date system automatically takes but when you set your team members and save your project then two things are come schedule project start date and scheduled project end date. These date are taking a reference that what time span you give on your each activity and at the last the total time span is your scheduled end date.
So don't be confused that why comes current date when you creating new project, So concentrate on scheduled start and end because project scheduled by you or administrator of a company .
