Hi, I'm new in Aras PLM and I'm trying it.
I created itens and Multi-Level BOM as following example below:
All itens was in "preliminary" status, So I put all in a ECO workflow and changed to Released.
After this, I changed de PartNumber "A1" (to designator: Led1, Led3) and saved it.
Now, A1 has Revision B and Generation 2 with the "preliminary" status.
I am not getting change A1 status to "released" by another ECO workflow. I put it in Affected Items with "change" actions, A1 = Old Number and check "interchangeable".
When I try to promote the ECO Workflow, appear this message: "Internal Error: Failed to get the transition to promote the Part from Preliminary to In Change."
I already tryed to promote the item from "preliminary" to "In change" and after this Promote the ECO again, but the same Error appears.
I read the Help from Aras, but I am not understanding how the "promote Part" and "promote ECO" should be changed. I tryed to promote the Part A1 (revB, generation2, preliminary) without ECO and I managed change to "In change" and after to "Released". Why can I promote the Part to Released without a ECO?
Sorry, If is a silly question. I worked with another PLM and it was different, there was "Promote part", only by ECO.
